LCDP Coordinated Canvass Kick-Off

Join the Lucas County Democratic Party in kicking off our coordinated campaign for our Toledo Municipal Candidates! 

We will meet at Ottawa Park on the North side near the Toledo Police Museum and canvass the surrounding neighborhood.

Bring comfortable walking shoes and a fully charged smartphone with the minivan app installed and an account created. Never canvassed before? no worries! We will train you and send you out with an experienced canvasser. 

Join us after the canvass at 1pm for a cookout and fundraiser for the slate!

Toledo Pride Parade

Walk with LCDP, Sylvania Dems, Anthony Wayne Dems, our great candidates & elected officials in the biggest parade of the year for Toledo. 

Toledo Pride is Northwest Ohio’s largest and most recognized event for the LGBTQIA+ community. We are celebrating our Sweet 16! Join us in downtown Toledo this year for 3 days of festivities from Friday, August 15th, through Sunday, August 17th.

Toledo Pride includes many exciting events for our community, including:

  • Toledo Pride – Kick-Off: Friday, August 15th, 2025 | Promenade Park 5-10 pm
  • Pride Parade: Saturday, August 16th, 2025 | Promenade Park 12 pm (noon)
  • Toledo Pride – Day Two: Saturday, August 16th, 2025 1-10 pm
  • Brunch Crawl: Sunday, August 17th, 2025 | Adams St. & Beyond 1-5 pm

The Toledo Pride Festival is a large-scale, outdoor event showcasing some of the best local entertainment including drag queens and musical acts. This annual festival boasts a pride parade, food, merchandise vendors, and networking with numerous community organizations, including social groups, churches, and health and wellness groups.
